Dr. Kenneth Choi came to Tucson from Flagstaff in 1986 to attend the University of Arizona in the BS Biochemistry Undergraduate Program and later, the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He received his medical degree in 1994.
He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in urology at Yale University College of Medicine New Haven Hospital where he also served as chief resident. He joined Urological Associates of Southern Arizona in 1999. Dr. Choi is Yale-trained and board-certified by the American Board of Urology. After over 20 years of experience in private practice with Urological Associates of Southern Arizona, he decided to establish his own practice, Choi Urology.
Dr. Choi focuses on microscopic surgery, minimally invasive treatment of the enlarged prostate, pediatric urology, erectile dysfunction, penile prosthesis placement, and incontinence surgery. He is one of the most experienced urologists in Arizona, particularly in the implantation of genitourinary prosthetic devices.
Dr. Choi is happily married and has two sons. He is an avid golfer, and his hobbies include staying updated on new gadgets and devices, exercising, and reading.
